We assigned each of them randomly on themes/things they have to defend.

To avoid hard feelings, we decided to assign them names of variants in another demension.

Jun became John, Miya san became Michael

CATS vs DOGS

<DOGS- John>

A-Dogs are more friendly than cats

B-You can enjoy playing with them

C-For the elderly, dogs become companions and can avoid feeling lonely

D-Cats are silent

E-Cats moves slower than dogs thus avoiding unnecessary sound

F-no sudden movements from cats

A*-Dogs are more friendly than cats

-When they are not trained, dogs bark even to their owners

-Dogs become friendly after a few years

-Good relationship means no barking

C*-For the elderly, dogs become companions and can avoid feeling lonely

-Dogs may help the elderly from being lonely, but dogs’ bark is more harmful especially for the neighbors

Result: Since Round 1 was just the beginning, we didn’t see much of an agressive behavior either from Michael nor John

SOBA vs UDON

A-Soba has a good aroma when you eat it

B-Thinner than Udon means good for the elderly.

C-Doesn’t get stuck (or clogeed) in the throat

D-Lower calories

E-Udon has much higher calories. Soba is better for diet

F-Udon is easy to make, with only flour. Soba needs buckweat and heavy process

G-Udon is much chewy than soba

H-Udon is cheaper than soba

I-All ages know the tast of udon.
